The Paradox Wind Quintet was formed in June of 2000. With a repertoire that spans the classic Wind Quintet literature, wedding and holiday favorites as well as "pops" selections, and combined playing experience of over 175 years, the Paradox Quintet offers something for every occasion. | |

Debra Gordley - Oboe |

| Deb, a former flutist, is principal oboe with the Des Moines Community Orchestra with 23 years experience on Oboe/English horn. She has played extensively throughout Iowa with many groups, including various Orchestras (including those for Choral Ensembles and Community Theaters), bands and smaller ensembles. Ms. Gordley has taught flute privately, but is now an avid promoter of the oboe. | |

| Rich is principal bassoonist with the Des Moines Community Orchestra. Mr. Gordley has performed with the Peoria Symphony Orchestra, the Macomb Illinois Symphony, the Bloomington- Normal Symphony, Urbandale Community Theater and the Prairie Wind Ensemble. Rich is a former music educator and private teacher. | |

| Jennifer teaches band at Southeast Polk Elementary School. She has 28 years performing experience and has appeared with the Truman State University Wind Ensemble and Orchestra, the Accent Brass Quintet, the Des Moines Community Orchestra and is active in church music in the Des Moines area. Ms. Tylavsky also teaches privately. | |
